Editorial Reviews:

Amazon.com Product Description
Weighing a mere 3.9 ounces, the DT-210V is small enough to fit in a shirt or jacket pocket and powerful enough to deliver TV audio (channels 2 to 13) and PLL-synthesized AM/FM stereo radio. A built-in speaker affords headphones-free listening, and 90-minute auto shut-off lets you fall asleep to the radio without fear of waking up to dead batteries.

You get 25 memory presets (and auto scan) to help you zip right to preferred stations. The radio comes with stereo ear buds and a removable belt clip, as well as a trailing antenna. DBB (Deep Bass Boost) enhances the sonic low end, while a stereo-mono switch improves reception when needed. Measuring a mere 1.5 by 3 by 0.6 inches, the unit runs on two AAA batteries (not included). A low-battery indicator offers a helpful hint on when it's wise to carry replacements.

5 out of 5 stars The Sangean DT-210V radio   November 30, 2008
I've had my Sangean pocket sized radio a couple months and so far I like
it a lot better then the Sony Walkman radios I've been buying for
several years. I'm hard hearing so I like it that it has more volume when
I'm outside working. My Sonys would start working on only one side of
the ear phones. Then after awhile no matter how new the ear phones were
it still only worked on one side. I used a set of the old ear phones that
only worked on one ear with the Sony on my new Sangean and both sides worked. The Sony volume control button freqently comes off and gets lost.
Very irrating. They've been that way for several years. No such problem with the Sangean.I also like the removal belt holder on the Sangean better
then the one on the Sony.Yesterday I ordered another Sangean, for my wife.

1 out of 5 stars Pathetic radio   November 28, 2008
I bought this radio from amazon. After one week the lock button became non- functional. After three months the speaker started popping. By the time I had the radio six months the speaker was so crackley I couldn't hear the station. So I started to listen through the earphones and after a month even that became impossible to hear on full volume. When I realized the radio was worthless I called sangean and they told me the warranty had expired at 90 days. When I asked then if this radio that cost almost 50 $ should last longer than six mo. they said yes, but would not return my money. The bigist waste of cash I've spent on the web so far. And the only review I've written.

5 out of 5 stars Radio for football games   November 17, 2008
I bought the Sangean DT-210V radio to listen to the football play-by-play broadcast on the AM band at Dolphin games. The reception is great, and the sound quality exceeds my expectations. My previous radio had alot of reception problems and scratchy sound. This radio is a big improvement.

1 out of 5 stars they need to go back to the drawing board   November 14, 2008
I give this NO stars. It's a joke.

1. Won't stand up unless you carefully balance it. Then it tips over anyway.

2. NO backlight. Can't use at night unless you have a flashlight. So much for AM dxing.

3. No AM antenna jack or terminal.

4. FM uses all digits instead of just odd ones. I.E. shows 92.0 92.1 92.3 etc. There are no FM stations on the even digits like 92.0 and 92.2.
I have other radios that have just the odd digits.

Nummbers 1 & 4 would add NO cost to the radio. Numbers 3 & 4 would add maybe a couple dollars. If they would have spent some time on R&D, it would be a great radio. Keep looking. This is not the one.

4 out of 5 stars Great Little Radio   November 10, 2008
I had a Radio Shack radio that I listened to for the past few years. It went out, so I ordered the Sangean 210 and it blows away that old Radio Shack radio. I'm able to recieve all three bands (AM/FM/TV) very clear. Would highly recommend this radio!
