Antenna broke after a week September 6, 2007 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Cheap. It broke the second time I used it. Then it is almost IMPOSSIBLE to open it to replace the antenna. I guess it's OK for a cheapie...that's why I gave it two stars instead of one. The shortwave function works pretty well.
A radio you never buy! June 21, 2006 0 out of 5 found this review helpful
I bought this one in Jan.,2006, and I use it often to receive FM music, it works, but I have to use AA alkaline battery to run it, cranking can work 1 hour less, then died. So, I bought a KA009, which is 100% better than this junk, I gave this radio away. Actually, I should throw it to junk box, but I did not, I gave it away..

Grundig Emergency Radio December 7, 2005 12 out of 13 found this review helpful
This is a very flimsy looking item. I would expect something as vital as an emergency radio to be a bit more rugged. I doubt it would survive a 2 foot drop. It's thin plastic construction inspired no confidence and I returned it right after opening the box
